Handwashing Habits Improving!

Good news, according to the CDC’s June survey U.S. adults are more likely to wash their hands after eating at a restaurant, before eating at home and after experiencing respiratory symptoms than they were in October of 2019.

What does that mean?

The American public is now more aware of the benefits of handwashing to help prevent illnesses and the spread of viruses.  With the good news of handwashing clearly rising, soap and disinfectants will be in demand. The CDC study also encourages handwashing after using the bathroom (of, course), before and after preparing or eating food, after coughing, sneezing or nose blowing.  Handwashing also should be increased before and after making contact with one’s face, going to a public place, touching a frequently touched surface and before and after touching one’s mask!
