Clean Hands on the Cleaner

Posted by on

One of the overlooked people in the pandemic, I believe, is cleaning staffs or custodians, for example, at hospitals, restrooms, gas stations.  I, for one, have taken them for granted for their silent help in stemming Covid-19.  They do their important cleaning work such as refilling soap dispensers, cleaning sinks, toilets, floors and partitions and restocking without much gratitude. Not that I suggest greeting people in restrooms but perhaps a little more appreciation and understanding for cleaning staffs as they help keep us safe. Another aspect that I have taken for granted is the cleaning staff washing their hands as...

In a recent survey by CleanLink magazine, the third biggest complaint in a two-week span, was lack of soap or malfunctioning soap dispensers (30%) right below “insufficient toilet tissue” (32%).  46% of all complaints centered around the restroom, no surprise there, while 22% of cleaning managers received complaints about “soap stock in restrooms” every two weeks. Survey was conducted by CleanLink on readers and posted this November. 2020 Complaints Survey Highlights Cleaning Challenges from CleanLink In many establishments cleaning is done in the evening and reminders from frequent hand cleaning by staff or perhaps their helping maintain inventories especially of...

Back to Business (with Sloan Soap)

Posted by on

Much of America is slowly getting back to business. It’s no longer “business as usual,” COVID-19 has changed our thinking on “cleanliness.” Soap and disinfectants are a way of life now. Businesses (and consumers) have to buy products with that in mind.  Businesses will need to maintain a continuous supply of disinfecting products including liquid hand soap. Running out of soap will not only be of concern to your customers but could pose a health hazard.  At MarketNet, we have programs to help make sure you never run out of soap. For example, we set up a program for a...
