IMPORTED HAND SANITIZERS CAN BE TOXIC

As we reported in our last blog, FDA ISSUES WARNING: HAND SANITIZERS MAY CONTAIN “WOOD ALCOHOL” the list of toxic hand sanitizers with wood alcohol has now reached 75.
The FDA reports that dozens of imported hand sanitizers are contaminated with methanol (wood alcohol) which is toxic to humans if ingested or absorbed through skin. The FDA is stopping some hand sanitizers from entering the US. Recent reports indicate serious injuries and even death were reported after ingesting hand sanitizers with wood alcohol.
